[tent]Bush Tents

We now have three "bush tents" which are a good quality tent erected in the bush, with comfortable beds and extra facilities added on around it. These consist of a private area and an outdoor bathroom - a very unique experience! Jump to: Tent 1, Tent 2 or Tent 3.

Tent One

[tent1]
Tent 1 from the front - table, chairs, hose.

If you want to really hear the wild animals, this romantic canvas palace is your friend. Sleeps one couple on the huge queen-size bed. Quality bedding, duvet and towels are provided. Comes with its own BBQ, 2 chairs, 2 tables, an eco-friendly non-CF aircooler, a small heater, luggage rack, electric kettle and coffee/tea station, electric lights and Euro outlet suitable to charge your phone and camera.
This tent has a small fridge to keep your butter, beer and BBQ meat cold.
Free geckos and night animal sounds. Solar powered hot water and modern "bush" bathroom. Does not come with a washing machine, personal butler, hair curlers or electric blankets … but might have open WiFi if your phone is good. And best of all, the price is exactly what our neighbours charge just for breakfast!
Based on what at least 3 couples have told us, they will forever associate this romantic pad with their firstborn.

This spacious canvas castle can be your oasis in the bush. It sleeps two plus two people, more at a squeeze. The perfect bush tent for couples with kids. The roof doubles as a trampoline for the monkeys at dawn.
King-size bed, bedding, towels, electric lights and plug, gas shower, modern loo, roof-fan, aircooler, kettle, bbq, washup basin, microwave, gas hotplate, medium fridge, grocery cupboard (hopefully monkeyproof).
Free moths, beetles, geckos, hyena scares, leopard or lion roars, and other night sounds. Does not come with a billiard table, cable TV, blu-ray, dishwasher or jacuzzi spa-pool.

This was built on the site of our oldest (8 years old) tent to supply customers with a lovely two bedroom tent at the river's edge, but two meters above the 100-year floodline.
We can also use it as a dormitory to fit 5 when we get really full.

Tent Three

This luxurious getaway can be your secret place in the bush. Here we have gone to extra lengths to offer you something better! This is a brand new and larger tent, snugly fitted under three intertwined trees with an outside kitchen corner and a few basic utensils, two-plate gas hotplate and a refrigerator.
It has a queen-size bed and an additional single bed, a table and 4 chairs, a ceiling fan, electric kettle and coffee/tea station. Topping it off is an ensuite bush-bathroom which is reached through a 3 meter en-suite "tunnel". Instead of cheap local taps and toilets, this unit features and Italian close coupled toilet, gold-plated showerhead and high-tech joystick shower control. Water is heated and fed by a German made Bosch water heater.
All this is brand new - not 'inherited' from the 5-star lodges around us! It is build near the river edge, but 2 meters above the 100-year floodline. Cement paths all around.
Free mozzies and strange animal sounds at night. Does not come with satellite TV, champagne on ice, a spa pool or a tumbledrier.
