Terms & Conditions - Bookings & Reservations

Note that as with all accommodation and tours anywhere in the world, there are seasonal and even week/weekend fluctuation in rates. Ours are no different - and if we make outside bookings for tours, services, etc then we cannot change the rates someone else charges us.


All one night and long weekend (peak) bookings must be prepaid in full, yes - we require a 100% deposit up front.


Please pay all deposits through the Nightsbridge website which also does our bookings for us.


No booking is confirmed until at least a 50% deposit (unless otherwise specified) has been received.


This is our retirement ranch that we are willing to share with nice members of the public, and a place where our customers become friends.
If you want to complain about anything except the weather, then please do not come here.

This will ensure the best outcome as computer glitches, missed emails and other gremlins can happen.


Cancellation Policy


From 28 or less days notice, guests will forfeit 100% of the deposit.


I do however undertake to refund you 80% if (and only if) I manage to rebook your room with another customer.


Breakages Deposit


For certain activities and types of booking, we may require a breakages deposit. If you break the equipment, the cost will come from your deposit (first).


Tour Minimums


All tour prices are based on a minimum of 4 (four) passengers! With less people you will have to pay proportionally more. Sorry, that is the harsh reality of simple economics and fixed costs. The Vito doesn't use much less fuel with less passengers, nor do your guide's time and expenses vary.


For tours, we require at least a 30% deposit to be paid up front, thank you.


Booking


Please make your booking through Nightsbridge, a local South African booking service. Please note that they now handle the booking and the payment for us.

Payment


For payments other than accommodation bookings (using Nightsbridge - above), we are using a local South African credit card processing system that we are happy with: FastPay. No overseas bank fees for us means that we can keep our prices affordable for you! Our payment page links to FastPay, where you can make a secure payment to us.
